Founded in the 1970’s by brothers Colm, Paddy, John
and Tom and brother-in-law Martin Sinnot - The Caulfield
group now comprises of 8 stores located in Kilkenny, Enniscorthy,
Tipperary town, Waterford city, Malahide, Co. Dublin,
New Ross Co. Wexford and Bandon Co. Cork.
The Caulfield group has annual sales in the region of €100million
and employs over 1000 people.
Opened in 2003, Super Valu Bandon is a magnificent 20,000
sq. ft Supermarket, which is truly a cutting edge state
of the art store.
Cross Refrigeration were chosen for this job because of the
competitive nature of our quotation, the excellent standard
of our equipment and because of the long standing working
relationship between us and the Caulfield Group.
We installed our Premium range of Costan Multideck wall
cases and upright wall and well deep freeze cabinets
throughout the store. We also installed a run of Criosbanc
Pegasus serve overs incorporating fresh meat, gourmet
cheese and deli products- all with individual temperature
zones.
We also installed a suite of coldrooms and provided air conditioning
to the entire store using our energy efficient Daikin
range of equipment.
We are very proud of this excellent installation and indeed
our strong association with the Caulfield group!
